What is Rise Walking Club?

Rise Walking Club is a guided walking community for women who want a simple, social, and consistent way to stay active. We lead low-intensity walks along curated neighborhood routes, designed to help people connect, move, and enjoy their neighborhoods.

Rise is designed for women—typically 45-75—who want movement without intensity, structure without pressure, and community without awkwardness. If you enjoy walking but want more motivation, fresh routes, or company, you’ll love it here.
Not at all. Our walks are intentionally low-intensity and instructor-guided. We set a comfortable, conversational pace and always prioritize safety and belonging. If you can enjoy a relaxed walk, you can join Rise.
Our walks range between 45–60 minutes, depending on the group and the route. We’ll share the expected duration and distance ahead of time so you know what to expect.
We keep a steady, conversational pace—fast enough to feel good, slow enough to talk comfortably. These are not power-walks or fitness classes. They’re guided, uplifting community walks.

We rotate through customized local neighborhood routes. Each route is curated for beauty, safety, and ease.

Every walk is led by a trained instructor who handles pacing, safety, logistics, and group comfort. Their job is to make the experience welcoming, smooth, and enjoyable—so you can simply show up and walk.

You’ll never feel alone for long. Instructors greet you by name, introduce you to others, and help you feel immediately included. Most people join Rise solo—it’s a very friendly environment.

Totally fine. Some members chat, others prefer quiet walks or to listen to headphones. Our instructors create an easygoing vibe where you can participate at your comfort level.

We’ll notify you ahead of time if a walk is canceled or rescheduled due to weather. Safety always comes first. Light drizzle? Sometimes we still go. Thunderstorms, icy conditions, extreme heat/cold? We’ll adjust.

Just comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Water is optional (walks aren’t long), but encouraged on warmer days. We handle everything else—including logistics, routes, safety, and pacing.

Not at all. Rise is an alternative to the gym—no machines, no intensity, no pressure. It’s movement made human, outdoors, and community-focused.

We offer monthly memberships (1-unlimited walks per week) and class packs (5- or 10-walk passes). Options are designed to fit your schedule, commitment level, and routine.

Yes! We offer a first-walk free option so you can experience Rise before choosing a membership.

Totally normal. Our memberships are flexible, and class packs offer even more freedom to come when you can.

No tough terrain—our routes are designed with accessibility and comfort in mind. Mostly flat sidewalks, lake paths, and neighborhood streets.

Absolutely! You can bring guests with a class-pack pass or invite them to try their first walk for free.

Yes. Routes are pre-planned, instructors manage crossings and group flow, and walks stay in well-lit, highly walkable areas. Safety is one of our core pillars.

Our instructors adjust pacing so no one feels rushed or left behind. The group stays together, and comfort is the priority.

Walking is one of the most accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable forms of movement. It boosts mood, supports joint health, reduces stress, and encourages real connection—all without strain or intimidation.

Simply join a walk, pick a membership, or claim your first free walk. We’ll take care of the rest.
